I wear cotton, linen, silk. I do have classic on casual side style.

I'm never satisfied with whites in my wardrobe. I don't seem to be able to make good use of them. For a decade or so now, I've been looking for soft yellows and I love to wear them. Maybe this summer I'll find butter yellow more available.

Having worked in retail (department store) back in the day in my 20s allowed me to find the clothes and styles suitable for me, now 60. My colour palette is the cool and neutral colours, navy, whites, black and earth tones (brown, beige and turquoise).

I am too scared to invest in high end brands as a lot of brands have started to use glue and cheap hardware added with faux leather I don’t think they can recover their reputation in my eyes so I woudl rather have a cheaper bag

Where are your boots from?

I've got a pair of linen trousers and wool jacket cardigan from Liz Clairborne which are like 20 years old which I have taken out to wear. My 25-year old denim jacket was passed on to my son who loves wearing it to work.

I find these cropped jeans or trousers so unflattering. It’s a no for me.

Right off the bat, you're wearing a color I would never ever wear with my olive skin. I am pale olive but still unsure if cool or warm, I tend to wear both but light colors look off on me, make me ashy, except for a darker beige, camel color

Additional to tailoring the waist: if crafty then can sew elastic bands into the waist portion or insert a drawstring into the waist for the same effect think drawstring joggers only in jeans

Having more different bags will give you different choices, or feelings. I used to think bags with full leather inside and outside were high-end, but now I think bags lined with cloth are better because they are lighter. *gtdupe*

Normally for your underbust measurement if it is an odd number eg. 27 inches, you add 5 inches to get your band size so 32, then count up from there to get your cup size and if it is even eg. 28 then you just add 4 inches so 32. 😊

When choosing which color shirts go with lighter vs. darker jeans, is there a rule for what looks better together? For me, dark jeans can go with most colors of shirt. However, with light-colored jeans, I feel like I should only wear brighter, more saturated colors of shirts. That way they contrast a bit more. 🤷‍♀️

White is a staple, but........STAINS. I'd love to wear white, but ain't gonna happen with pants or a dress or skirt. Esp. using public transit.

Classic simple elegance.

I work in a factory all week. I am in an office but also out in the manufacturing floor. For safety I have to wear jeans and plain cotton tops or polos. So I started dressing nicer on weekends, even if just to get groceries. A flowy dress or jeans with a blazer and nice shoes is no less comfortable but makes me feel so nice and people are so much nicer to me. I wear hats too. Even something casual is elevated with the right hat and people always compliment me on it.
